...Take me away...

Spiraling Down: Born in Venezuela, I was brought up partly in the city and partly in the mountains. When I was seven, my parents moved to Atlanta, GA taking me away from my grandmother who was actually raising me. I have a history of abuse, sexual, physical, mental and drugs. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which I have been suffering from all my life. I feel a need, not only to educate but to understand my own illness. I am emotionally ill, not mentally ill. Apart from some of the incidents of my life, I am just like everyone else... only, as my husband put it, "I have to take drugs to be happy" - which is not true! I hope to get "relief" (for lack of a better word) from releasing all thoughts from a brain that doesn't quite work like everyone else's and hope that others benefit from my mistakes.
